Where does the lava of volcanoes come from ? At the centre of the earth, the temperature is too high that the magma is formed which is a mixture of gases and rocks which heats and boils at the earth centre with a very high temperature. When and volcanic eruption takes place this magma at the centre of the earth rises up to the creator and spreads out in a vicious orange liquid which is now called lava (not magma).Once the lava is cooled down the lava blackens and solidifies itself.
