Why do we prune trees?
Tree are being pruned in order to remove the dead or diseased branches to help prevent insect and disease-causing organisms from entering the tree. Thinning a dense tree canopy make it possible for sunlight and air to reach all the parts of the tree. The best time period in a year to prune the trees is late winter or early spring before the buds start opening.
