Where do tears come from ?

Tears are produced by the lachrymal' glands located above the eyes.
Thanks to them, our
eyes remain constantly
moistened to clean out dust
particles. When we are sad
or in pain, the brain triggers
an intense production of
tears; the lachrymal glands
overflow and we cry.
