Is the moon a planet ?

The moon is the earth’s satellite and not a planet. Planets  revolve around the sun but satellites like moon revolve around the planet. The latter are clouds of solidified dust, which broke free from a planet after  colliding with a celestial body. There are 31 moons for the planet Saturn.
