How is the black hair surrounding the panda eye useful?

The eye are panda are very sensitive to bright light and panda mostly live in snowy areas it’s black hair surrounding its eyes protects it from brightness. The black hair surrounding its eyes literally absorbs the light rays, it filter the suns ray that reflect on the snow and the could spoil its sight. One can assume that panda is always wearing sunglasses  throughout the year.
